But when we opened the cabinet where the vent goes up in the stove we found a hole as big as a golf ball. Climb the ladder remove the access panel and enter the attic. The bad news is once inside mice tend to reproduce quickly causing an infestation before you even knew it was happening. Every morning between the hours of about 7 30 8 30 there is a persistent type of squeaking from the attic above my bed.
